Name: Maggieb. (magnolia blossom cuz I'm a gardener at heart) Location: Minneapolis MN. Raised in Charleston South Carolina...one of the original rebel colonies founded 1670 and named after King Charles of England. Have lived all over the US and Hawaii. Immigrant family from Leicester England 4 generations preceding. Occupation: Mainframe Computer Systems analyst and programmer. Business application system design, development and support. BS degree in Business Finance from the 1st municipal college in the original 13 English colonies, but did not graudate in the 1700's, mind you. ;D Post graduate degree in Computer Science. Favourite One eskimO track: ADAM.. Oh, excuse, me...my bad. No favorite. The hook was Kandi which I couldn't get out of my mind. Something very erotic and haunting about that song. I would love to know the true meaning. Favourite One eskimO gig: The small venues. People's Choice (Des Moines Iowa) where I first met the guys in person and Waiting Room (Omaha Nebraska) where they mingled with me, my family/friends after the show. Also where I received a farewell hug from Adam. Couldn't wipe the grin off of my face. What do I like about One eskimO: The diverse sound of their music. I listen to their CD's all day at work and find it soothing, yet stimulating. I've been busted by co-workers drumming along with Adam at my desk or tearing over Kristian's profound lyricism for such a young man. Other musical interests: Learned piano at age 7, so my musical tastes are across the board. Classical, disco, rock, alternative, soul, R&B, African beat, and Latin beat. I own a variety of artists works. Love lyrical music like David Gray, Five for Fighting, but am a rock n roller from the 60-70's. Partied with the Eagles in 1975 in Savannah Georgia. Kinks, Van halen, Bon Jovi. More current would be Hinder, Seether, Staind, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Puddle of Mud. Something interesting about me: Am pretty lively. I'm called SPICE at work because I keep things upbeat which is comical considering that I work in a cubicle, corporate, lackluster environment. I love my career. My hobby is being an avid perrenial gardener. I use plants and open space as my canvas for color. You guys probably don't relate at all. But you asked.

nice idea! forget that one, Mark ... Name: Kailee Location: Germany Occupation: surgeon/researcher Favourite One eskimO track: if I can pick only one it would be Givin' Up, esp with the Lifelong Friendship Society/Bullet video (and I'm sure the milltone intro, if I ever get to hear it) Favourite One eskimO gig: HAHA (as a substitute: the shockhound session) What do I like about One eskimO: innovative and interesting sound (Kandi was played on the radio and sounded completely different to the rest) Other musical interests: very diverse, a lot of times the more basic and acoustic bits Something interesting about me: I own about 40 records, 20 singles, 20 cds/albums ... but I LOVE live music and go to shows/gigs at least twice a week.

Nice idea! I loved reading everyone's bios! [ Favourite One eskimO track: ADAM.. This made my day! ;D Name: Susana, as you probably have guessed by my nickname. Location: the most western and southern part of Europe: the Algarve, in Portugal. Occupation: Bioengineer, finishing my master degree in Landscape Sciences and taking my driving license in the meantime. Favourite One eskimO track: That's hard... between Simple Day, Amazing, Hurricanes, I can't choose. Favourite One eskimO gig: I'm yet to see them live for the first time... I loved watching the Blip.fm podcast, that was so much fun! What do I like about One eskimO: I think you guys and girls already replied to this one so well. Their sound is unique and sweet at the same time, and they're all very talented musicians. And their accents... *hearts* Other musical interests: I think I have a pretty ecletic music taste. GREEN DAY is above anything else though. Their music changed my life for the better and has bought me so much happiness. I would have never met many of my friends if it wasn't for Green Day. Their music is amazing and speaks to my heart very strongly. Well, I could go on and on about Green Day as you probably have noticed. ;D I'm also a huge fan of Frank Turner, Kaiser Chiefs, Amy Macdonald, Sandi Thom, Foo Fighters, The Beatles, The Who, Prima Donna, Lily Allen... and so many more. Something interesting about me: I spent one semester in Sweden last year for studying, and it was a great experience in which I made amazing friends and learned a lot about how we are so different but so alike, and we're all just one big community. I've been on stage with Green Day last year and it was the best moment of my life. Elephants and dogs are my favourite animals. The photo I attached is me in Abbey Road last June. Attachments:

Up to me ;D Name: Yann Location: I'm living in the south of France, in the "Sunny Provence" (and that's why my English is awful) Occupation: I got my phD in organic chemistry in 2002, but now i'm working for Arts Schools. I'm a teacher in chemistry applied to arts, and i'm working with future paintings restaurators Favourite One eskimO track: Hard to say, but my 3 favourites are Astronauts, Amazing and Hi.Lo & in between Favourite One eskimO gig: I never got the chance to see them live, but i love some acoustic sessions, like the Shockhound one. I just saw them through the internet during the "Mountain Jam Festival". What do I like about One eskimO: I love the magical spirit that spread everywhere when tracks are playing. I got a strong emotional feeling when i first heard "Amazing". And the voice of Kristian Leontiou is also so sweet. And they are produced by Rollo, who is my God-On-Earth musician Other musical interests: As said above, i'm a big fan of Rollo, so i love Faithless, and i'm collecting them. I like also Dido and all his brother productions. But i'm a huge fan of Alanis Morissette too, and i collect every record i can. I'm also a big fan of Mylene Farmer, which is probably the most famous female singer in France. And i love electronic music, for 1992 to now, especially house music Something interesting about me: I'm collecting records (cd or vinyls), i can spend a lot of money to get the one i want, (even if i have to eat only some piece of bread for some weeks ) A pic :

Kailee, Both me and Susana can't be wrong. C'mon - be a player. Join the Adam Fan Club. I'd rather play with Adam then... than joining any club ;D, not even being a fan... Fair enough?? Isn't any... I'm just neither a joiner nor a mingler - I can be a player though if I really want to . (and we should have a "we're talking only crap" thread for stuff like that) Kailee

This THREAD specifically sez, "Talk about anything and everything in the board of randomness." To me, this thread is the equivalent of a "we're talking only crap" thread WRONG. This BOARD says "Talk about anything and everything in the board of randomness" This THREAD is Mark's very own "Who am I"... therefore I'm moving this lovely uh, "discussion" to oneeskimo.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=offtopic&thread=232&page=1Kailee
