Well I just thought I would post a little message as I sit here with my thoughts as the album will finally FINALLY actually be available in stores and online tomorrow. Is a very weird day for me, have lived with this album for many years now through many versions, artwork, tracklisting and all the associated ups and downs of working with a new band. I can honestly say, and I do mean it, that the album that will come out tomorrow is such a true reflection of how the One eskimO sound has evolved from conception til now. The songs have changed through being played live so many times and all the little things that were maybe left not quite right have all been fixed. I really think it is an amazing body of work and am so proud of all the boys who have really worked their arses off for a long time to get to this stage. Although I have numerous copies I cannot wait to walk into a shop tomorrow and actually pay for a copy - is going to be very exciting. Paul - thanks for all your hard work here - I know the boys appreciate it very much. Also Paul - make sure you read the notes on the album very carefully Can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts tomorrow! Allison xxx

I couldn't have said it better myself Thanks for your kind words Allison, it means a lot to me and it's great to have the support of the band, yourself and management It also wouldn't be much of a forum without the fans, so I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed, it means a lot to me And thanks again Allison for letting me know I'm very touched - Paul xxx

Wow, what a day it's been! Finally the moment had arrived! After finding out HMV in Basildon had a few copies off I went with my camera to savour the moment and what a moment it was! To walk into a HMV store and see the debut album sitting on a shelve under 'the best new music' was a moment I will never ever forget. I find it hard to put into words - I took as many photos from as many different angles as I could! (I'll upload a few over the next few days) I also can't find the words to describe the feeling of actually holding the album in my hands, a beautiful moment It's an amazing album, it's been a real pleasure to see how the band has developed and kept the essence of its live performances in the album - it really comes across in the tracks. I love the artwork and the finished tracks are polished and refined to perfection! What does everyone else think? - Paul

It also wouldn't be much of a forum without the fans, so I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed, it means a lot to me Paul - its always a pleasure posting on here and we all appreciate the info and news updates that you provide. Keep up the good work cos you are doing a fantastic job. It was good to meet you at the gigs this year, and will hopefully be seeing you in the near future at the next London (or hopefully Essex) show. All I can say is its been a long journey for some of us, I still remember the early days going to watch the band perform 02 Wireless 2007, the Betsy Trotwood is one I will never forget with them playing to me and the wife and one other couple in such an small and intimate venue. It was like a private gig just for us. Then there is the distant and painful to get to, but lovely, Cobden Club. Making the trek from Essex is always a mission, but one that is so very worth it. Each gig they seemed to get better and better and the crowds got bigger and bigger as the One eskimO word spread. Supporting Faithless, 2 V festival performances, Shephards bush, ICA, etc..... the list goes on. I dont think I've ever seen a band play live as many times as I've seen One eskimO each time different, unique and a pleasure to attend. I will never grow bored of seeing or listening to this amazing band, and hope they have many more years ahead of them. Well they definately have to do a 2nd album cos we need Hurricanes on CD. I have my download, hard copy, and promos of the album, live dvd, promo and official singles, a signed flyer from the Betsy gig, the list goes on and on. All have been a pleasure and honour to collect over the years. Finally a special mention to Allison, whom I know works as hard (if not harder) as the band themselves. Thank you for all the emails, updates, little presents etc..... your time and effort really is appreciated. Today must have been a fantastic and emotional day for you, so go celebrate safely knowing you have played your part (a massive one at that) on this special journey. Guys if you read this, congratulations and thank you so much for the hard work and effort you have put into producing this fabulous album. I really do hope you get the full credit and reward you so deeply deserve for all the time and effort you have dedicated to One eskimO. Thank you for bringing a little bit of sunshine and happiness into our lives that is the unique, fabulous and amazing One eskimO sound.

Allison/Paul - I know the guys really do need a break after all this touring, but.... Is there plans for a home album release gig. I know they are playing with Paolo Nutini when they are back in a few days time (working on getting tickets for the London show as there's a support act I would like to see ;-)
Just wondered if they had any special plans for us fans back home, as the album was released whilst they were touring the US. A nice album release party/gig playing the album in full from start to finish. Now that would something special.

Also forgot to ask, any idea why the "All Balloons" title was dropped and the album just became self titled?

Well i recieved the US version, it is a large digisleeve (same size as a digipak, so larger than the UK version) It has a flyer in it, with promotion for the webstore (which is closed, i don"t know if you paid attention). And it shows a wonderful blue vinyl (it is said one can buy it on the webstore...) On Amazon.com, the release date of the vinyl album is... 7 September 2010 !
