I personally really liked Kristian Leontiou as a solo artist, although by the sounds of it he wasn't too content with the music he made. My favourite track was "Hi-Low and Inbetween", incidentally I think this is the closest to One EskimO he got as a solo singer. I was just wondering... who's got Kristian Leontiou's album? What did you think of it, and did it inspire you to become a fan of One EskimO? More importantly, is One EskimO's music better or worse? Discuss!

I've looked it up and he was definately born in 1984. "Kristian Leontiou was born in February 1984 in East London." (From Kristian's Bebo Page: www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=2111701187) Looks like it's his birthday soon! - Glenn

Don't worry, you're allowed to prefer his solo work! Glad the song got you through those stressful exams! "The Years Move On" really helped me get over a relationship break up I went through. I loved the bit where he just sings 'goodbye is goodbye'. That's an awesome song. Anyway, we're all pleased to see Kristian's back. - Glenn

Kristian's creativity was pleasant to me more, than One eskimO. All began from the song Story of my Life, then I've bought an album and I has grown fond every song! I listen Some Day Soon till now. But One eskimO is anything too

I too bought the album 'Some Day Soon' after buying 'Story Of My Life', 'Shining' and 'Some Say' - my sister once said to me why don't you just buy his album as you've bought all his singles! So I did and just like you Ekarnybabay I grew fond of every song and I also still listen to the album now My favourites include 'Caught In The Moment' and 'Fall And I Will Catch You' My sister always jokes that any girlfriend would have to compete with the love I have for Kristian's music (and Arsenal!) as I'm always going on about Kristian and One eskimO! ;D - Paul Kristian's creativity was pleasant to me more, than One eskimO. Hi guys....zoom forward to 2010. I heard Kandi on a TV show, but was listening to Kristian as a solo artist because of Some Day Soon. I love that album. I sing it out loud, and know every word to every song.
I met Kristian last weekend, and asked him if he sings those songs anymore. From his expression, it was immediately obvious that I had asked a wrong question. I felt awful about it. He explained that "Some Day Soon" was in the past. So for now, we must leave it there.

Don't worry about it, it's not your fault. Kris has said several times that One eskimO is what he has always wanted to do musically, and he feels completely into it, unlike he felt with his solo carreer. I love his solo stuff though. He can't go wrong with such an amazing voice.

www.guardian.co.uk/music/2007/dec/18/popandrock3In a nutshell: "I wanted to create a sound of my own: magical, ambient, filmic, acoustic, beautiful and meaningful," says our man in the ground-level kecks. "I wanted to write about how I felt about life, love, losses and failures, highs and lows, even heartbreaks. But also about how amazing human life is and how mind-blowing our very existence is."
